The Asheville Pickleball Association (APA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, promotes the growth of pickleball in Western North Caroline to enrich lives in our communities.
The charitable activities of the association promote free clinics to welcome new players, including youth and the elderly. Through our partnership with Asheville Parks and Recreation, we organize competitive league play for all ages. We leverage social events utilizing pickleball to welcome visitors, new residents, the displaced, and those alone. We support the creation of tournaments to expand tourism and revenues for local businesses. The APA advocates for the new construction and improvements of public pickleball facilities across Western North Carolina.
