CT Wilson Construction Company is a third-generation, family-owned commercial general contractor located in Durham and Greensboro, North Carolina. Charles T. Wilson, Sr. organized CT Wilson Construction in 1952 to perform preconstruction and construction management services in Durham and the surrounding area. The company was incorporated in North Carolina in 1955. Charles “Chuck” T. Wilson, Jr., joined his father in 1969 after serving in the United States Navy and completing his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering at NC State University. Charles “Charlie” T. Wilson, III, worked for a General Contractor in Texas after completing his master’s degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. Charlie joined the family business in 1997, becoming majority owner and President in 2016. Chuck now serves as the company's CEO. Emily Ellis, EVP, CFO, was hired in 2015, and in 2017, CT Wilson opened its second NC office in Greensboro.

CT Wilson solves complex problems with the financial strength of a large contractor coupled with the availability and creative independence of a small company. We have over 70 years building relationships with repeat clients across North Carolina and an excellent safety record reinforced by a .71 Experience Modification Rate (EMR.) From preconstruction through project completion, we provide personalized services for numerous building types but specialize in complex athletic facilities, education, healthcare, religious, and historic redevelopment projects. The majority of our work is negotiated with repeat clients. Over 60% of our clients are non-profits. Project size by contract amount varies from $500,000 to $45 million.
