Description:

Full-time administrative assistant needed for busy downtown church office. Hours are 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday.

Job responsibilities include: updating and creating membership records; updating and managing program rosters; coordinating, arranging  and overseeing volunteers for various church needs; providing administrative support for program staff, assist staff and church members with general office tasks; oversee congregational mailings; update and manage multiple calendars; facilitate communication concerning pastoral care.

Qualifications: Must be courteous and able to communicate graciously via email, phone and face-to-face. Must be able to work efficiently in a busy main office with many interruptions. Strong computer skills, organization, attention to detail, discretion required. Experience with ACS and Google calendar preferred. Familiarity with Mac OS preferred as that is the main operating system currently in use.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
